Founder
Lake is the founder of HinaTech LLC, with a technical journey that began in the mid-late 1980s. He started by operating bulletin-board systems, managing early Novell environments, and working hands-on during the rise of modern networking. Over the decades, he has developed deep expertise in both Linux and Windows systems — a dual-platform proficiency that enables him to design and manage infrastructure with flexibility and precision.
He holds a B.S. in Information Systems Security, and has previously earned the CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) certification, reflecting his strong foundation in cybersecurity principles, ethical penetration testing, and defensive security practices.
Lake has led projects ranging from small business networks to security-focused and compliance-driven environments, including systems aligned with HIPAA, NERC, and FINRA requirements. His experience includes ransomware recovery and resilience planning, server rack redesigns and upgrades, database and data migrations, and high-availability infrastructure deployments spanning cloud and on-prem ecosystems.
